Camp in the cold.

Update, update!
Hi guys, I know blogging is so out of date now.
And I know not many people read my blog.
But hey, I'm one of the special and simple minded people who still continue blogging even though it isn't trendy anymore.
I'm such a gem.
HAHAHA, k no.

I've been taking part in Freshman Orientation Camp (FOC) as facilitator.
Yeah, I know, year 3 already still do these kinda things.
I'm not an official facilitator assigned with a position like events, group leader, etc.
I've just been asked to go there to help out.
Help out as what?
Like anyone else, I have no idea.
But like any other camp, this FOC has been a fun one so far.
The actual camp's on the 31st March (Day 0) to 3rd March.

Went for the training camp 4 days ago.
Met new people...
Played games...
Made a fool out of myself...
Fell in love...
HAHAHAHA, k no, I'm just kidding.
And yeah, the usual stuff you do when you go for camp.

OH AND YES, LEARNT THE CLUSTER DANCE WHICH IS AWSOMELY COOL.
I'd upload the actual performance here, if I get hold of the video.
I need more practice though, 'cause I am damn awkward when I dance.
And guess what.
The irony is that I taught the friendship dance during the training camp.
Like, right infront of all the facilitators, in the lecture hall.
You know how awkward I get when I see a group of say, 5 strangers.
I was facing 80+ people?

Let me just emphasize that I CANNOT dance.
But I'm doing it for the benefit of everyone else.

Love: What has to come unconditionally.

Adolescence, the stage of life where we discover pretty much a lot.
And of the many things we find out, we find love, or what we perceive as love.
Many of us are wrong about love.
Love's a strong word, and many people, especially kids like us, use it for the wrongest reasons.
The first thing that comes to our minds when we talk about love is that special someone; being in a relationship.
Which of us has ever thought of our parents and what they've done for us?
Have our parents ever asked of anything when they made us?
Have they ever asked for money when they paid for all our expenses?
I'm sure most parents don't, because they love us.
Perhaps they'd expect us to take care of them in the future, when they are frail, and disabled.
In return for the times that they took care of us when we were weak: an entire lifetime.
Would it be too much to be asked of us, to take good care of them for just that short while?
No one can repay parental love.
It is unconditional.
It is priceless.

No, I'm not here to talk about filial piety today.
I want to say that love is unconditional.
If you love someone for what he/she is giving you now, it's not love.
If you're in a relationship and you feel that the other half is obligated to do something for you to keep the relationship going, it probably isn't love.
When you love someone, you don't expect them to pull a chair for you.
You don't expect them to give you roses every special occasion.
You don't abandon them when they are weak, you give them a helping hand.
Yes, there is nothing wrong with expecting that out of a relationship.
But if the reasons that led to the end of a relationship are things like that, you can go fuck yourself.
You don't deserve to be in a relationship at all.

Hi, I'm finally back from the hectic 4 days of work at IT Show 2011.
The 4 days were pretty much the worst job experience ever.
I got cuts, bruises and an injured eye after the 4 days.
Spent $200 on medical fees to date, FML.
I have little of my pay left -.-

I guess I shall not keep this long.

Hi, I'm bored and I've got no life so I'm here to blog.
Yes, you may be wondering what's up with the pictures that I've been adding at the start of my posts.

I'm gonna talk about 5 things that I can't stand.
5 things I've recently seen.
It kinda disturbs me -.-
Again, I'm just saying, don't go talk behind my back ):
Okay maybe not so much of "talking about", just mentioning.

1. People trying to trend their schools on twitter with #schoolnamefacts.
Is this an attempt to make schools famous nowadays?
Especially with tweets that don't make sense and no one else except the person who tweets it and their friends know.
I've seen bowenfacts, riversidefacts.
URGHHH, Riverside -headdesk-

2. People tweet-ing or facebook-ing acronyms.
ISDGWTPATDD.
If you're afraid of someone else knowing, just go create a private blog and talk about it all you want there.
It gets kinda annoying when I see it all the time.
I'm so sorry -.-

3. People retweet-ing horoscope/zodiac facts.
#Virgos are the most awesome people EVER #zodiacfacts.
It spams my twitter with tweets that I don't really want to read.
And worse, if you're retweet-ing it, it probably refers to do doesn't it.
No, I'm not really keen on finding out so much about you. :/
And yes, I'm virgo.

4. People pretending to like someone else, when in fact they don't.
I mean, if you despise someone, just tell the person.
Need you pretend?
Is it all in an attempt to hurt that person worse that it would have?
All the ostracizing, I can't stand it...

5. People who have a change of heart so easily.
I understand that not everyone has the same level of sentimentalism.
But for the sake of not having others talk behind your back, why can't you just hold your pee in a little longer?
I can't stand how promiscuous some people can get.
Sometimes, I'm like this too.
Or at least, I used to be like this...

I'm so gonna get so many people hating on me after this.
Again, I'm just saying and I did not have anybody in mind when I typed all these things out.

I was so wrong about you, after what I've seen you do.
Yes, I'm in no position to judge, I'm just an outsider, this is just my opinions.
But hey, if you wanted to break up with someone, couldn't you do in properly?
You really could have done it quickly and less painlessly, instead of going closer to someone else and let time play it's role.
You didn't just lose your mate this time round, you lost a friend.
So what now, you don't know how to deal with him?
AWKWARDDDDDD, but then again, who am I to judge, I'm just saying.

Like I said, my exams just ended, so I'm gonna talk a little about my papers.
Move on if you don't wish to read this section, cause it's gonna be damn boring as you'd most likely not understand what I'm trying to say.
In total, I had 3 papers: Marketing Research, Human Resource Management and Gaming Operations Management.
Marketing Research was a big-time screw up, but was the paper I studied hardest for ):
Human Resource Management got better, a little, and I'm kinda hoping for an A.
Gaming Operations Management was the awesome-st and I'm hoping to get an A too.

So anyway, I've been going out a lot these days.
Spending lotsa money. (URGH).
Okay, why am I even saying this.
HAHAHA.
Shall not bore you further.
